What the service is

The service provides verification tools and reproduces public minerals-register and export information for Sierra Leone and, over time, other West African markets. It is an independent service. We are not a government body, not a party to any transaction, and we do not buy, sell or broker gold, diamonds or any mineral.

Information is provided "as is"

We take care to present register and export information accurately, but it is drawn from public sources that change and may contain errors or omissions. Information is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. A licence record is a reproduction of a public fact, not an endorsement, and is not a guarantee about any company or any specific shipment.

Nothing on this site is legal, financial, tax or professional advice. Verifying a licence or a shipment here does not replace your own due diligence. Always confirm the specifics of a transaction directly and seek professional advice before you commit funds.

Verification & your own due diligence

A "verified" result confirms that a record matches our data at the time of the check. It does not guarantee the conduct of any party or the outcome of any deal. You remain responsible for your own decisions and for independently confirming that a counterparty and a shipment are legitimate and tax-paid.

Acceptable use

• Do not submit false, misleading or defamatory reports, or use the service to harass or defraud others.
• Do not scrape, bulk-download, resell or misrepresent the data, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.

Scam reports & listings

Reports are reviewed before any party is named publicly, with corroborating evidence and a right of reply. By submitting a report you confirm it is truthful and made in good faith. We may edit, decline or remove submissions at our discretion.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sierra Leone Minerals Register and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service or its information, including any transaction you enter into with a third party.

Changes & governing law
